On July 28th, Vidhi, kids and I went to Lowell to hangout at the folk festival. The clouds followed us from NH, all the way to Lowell. It started to pour just when we got out of the car. Vidhi and kids were under the umbrellas, but I needed the freedom to shoot and chose a poncho. I took a chance and shot in the rain. The camera survived!
The LowellFolkFesival.org describes the event as:
The Lowell Folk Festival strives to present the very finest traditional artists from across the country. Festival stages reverberate with the sounds of traditional music more often heard in homes, social clubs, dance halls, and annual celebrations.
There was good music and food. The crowd was thin but committed. We spent a a few hours taking in the atmosphere.
